My Approach

I have always been a problem solver and change-agent at every job and in every field in which I have worked. Identifying needs and challenges and then addressing them have been the mainstay of my professional life, whether in architecture firms or start-up nonprofits, or as a volunteer in many projects.

I want to help you focus more on living your life. If you are bogged down with paperwork, incoming mail, and too many decisions on an ongoing basis, we can address this. I can help you organize your financial life in such a way that much of it can take care of itself. And once that's taken care of, we can begin to address your financial and personal goals, and how you're going to be able to achieve them. I do not prescribe budgets, but rather work with you according to what you want your life to be. Together we’ll set up systems that you can maintain, or that I manage during regular visits – whichever you need and prefer.

Clients regularly ask me for assistance beyond the scope of services listed here: I have redesigned  and furnished offices, advised on business processes and technology, helped prepare an office team for the busy tax season, cleared up health insurance claims and credit card fraud, revised website copy and tweaked graphic layouts. I also help clients organize their ideas into powerful written proposals and compelling websites. As the former director of a successful nonprofit I have much experience in selling ideas and making them appealing to prospective clients and funders. Let me know how I can help you.

My Background

With years of design experience paired with successful business leadership (I co-founded and directed PhillyCarShare), I bring a comprehensive approach to organizing and problem-solving to other people's homes and offices.

I have a B.S. in Design from the University of California, Davis, and a Masters in City Planning from the University of Pennsylvania. I also design handmade knitwear.
